Fireworks

Pretty pretty bright lights
Oh how I wish,
I can always keep you in sight
As you zoom up into the sky

Red, blue, yellow, green
One after another
You are like jelly beans,
Meant for the dark cloudless sky!

Out of a sudden you appear
A delightful surprise to my peers
Stunning them to silence
In awe, we watched and watched

Bom Bom Bom you went,
Twirling across the sky,
Forming circles as you please,
Before raining down onto those beneath

As fast as you appeared,
You disappeared soon after
Bye bye fireworks...
